WAKE UP!!!

      There is this man who lives in an ice block. Yes, a large block of ice surrounded him. The ice block is thick and solid. It is frosted and the man in the ice is barely visible.

      One day, another man passed by and saw this large block of ice. He was very curious and wanted to see what is inside of the ice. So, he knocked on the ice…

" Hello… Anybody there?"

‘…’

"Hello… I know you are inside… answer me please?"

‘…’

" Hey … Don’t be shy… come outside…"

‘…’

"Hello… I just wanna b ur fren…"

"Dun u feel lonely alone inside ?"

"The sun’s shining brightly out here… Come on …"

‘…’

"Fine… If u insist in stayin inside… I’ll sit ryt here n wait…"

‘…’

     So, days had passed n the man waited patiently out there beside the ice block. Everyday , He talked to the man inside n persuaded him to come out. Finally one day, the man in ice gave in , n started talkin to him…

"I’m ur fren… I tell u everything… y wont u let me c u? "

‘I’m really ugly… I hide in this ice so tat ppl cant c me…’

"Its alright… i’m ur fren… i wont mind ur looks…"

‘Really? But can u accept me as a fren if u hav seen me? m hideous…’

"Well, m ur fren, v can share everythin… of cos u’ll stil b my fren regardless of ur looks…"

‘hmmm…ok then…’

      Overjoyed, the man started to drill a hole in the ice…The ice is tough n it was difficult to drill. Nonetheless, curiousity caught the better side of him n he persisted…

      Finally, he managed to drill a small hole in the ice… Thrilled, he peeped thru the hole with much anticipation…

      Shocked, inside the ice block is the ugliest man he’s ever seen…

      In his disbelief, he staggered backwards… n started to run away from the ice block, fleein as fast as his legs can bring him…

      Lookin at the back of the fleein man, the man in ice was greatly disappointed…He peeped thru the hole , tryin to c the world outside…

      Its a barren desert… n the sun seems scorchin hot , burnin his eyes even thru the tiny hole…

      N at the corner of his eyes, he caught sight of the man…The fled man had return…

     Excited in his bewilderment, sumthing elses came visible in view…

    As they come closer… the noises become audible…

"Hey , u guys wont believe this til u c it personally…"

"Hes the ugliest man on earth, no i think in the whole universe…"

"U all must c him…"

"Come, peeped thru the hole, n u’ll c the ugliest man alive…"

        The man in the ice was furious, humiliated, n gravely saddened by the sight of the men surrounded him peepin inside… Tears started rollin down his cheeks like streams of river…

‘ I’ve trusted u as a fren, n u’ve betrayed me !!!’

       He yelled, in vain, as the men stared amused. He scoopped up his tears poolin at his feet, n poured into the hole…In no time at all, the tears frozed n sealed the hole…And the  world outside is quickly out of sight , out of mind…

      But the hole in the man’s heart is never to recover…
